Topic – “Social media”

Q. Which social media websites does one use? [Why?]

Answer: There are a couple of social media websites, I use, which include sites like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, and Linkedin. I exploit these websites, mainly to stay connected with my friends, families and office colleagues also because of the issues that are affecting our world around us on a day today. They also allow me to take care of personal and professional relationships both with friends and colleagues.

Q. what proportion time does one spend on social media sites? [Why/Why not?]

Answer: I need to admit that I’m a busy person with my job and with other priorities, and thus, I don’t really get to spend the maximum amount of time to spend on social media sites as I might adore to. Still, I might say that I spend a minimum of 30 to 40 minutes each day to ascertain what my friends’ et al. do through their online posts, follow the newest trends in life, health and fashion in order that I can relax a touch outside of my work life. Once during a while, I also update my status, write or share a replacement post, and upload a worth sharing picture.

Q. What quite an information about yourself have you ever placed on social media? [Why?]

Answer: to inform the reality, it all depends on what sorts of social media I’m visiting. for instance, if I’m visiting sites like Facebook and Twitter, I attempt to put only information like what sorts of things really interest me (ie. my hobbies and places I prefer to travel then forth). But, once I am on a site like “LinkedIn”, which is more of a knowledgeable networking site), I attempt to put most of my skills and expertise. Overall, I even have shared just about my address, pictures, qualification, hobbies, interests and important life events on social media websites I exploit.

Q. Is there anything you do not like about social media? [Why?]

Answer: Well, to be honest, privacy concerns and the way our personal data are getting used for the advantages of huge corporations or political parties are two major concerns about social media. And, we should always not share sensitive data online, be it social media or other places, to get on the safe side. On a positive note, social media websites are ready to bring people together from all around the world to exchange their views and opinions on different issues, and that they are useful. So we should always be known to take advantage of it and take care of its dark side. social media IELTS Speaking Part 1.
